There is a popular belief that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and that is not far from the truth. People skip breakfast for different reasons. It could be that the person is trying to lose weight, does not have the time to prepare something before going out to work or has become so used to it, that it does not even matter. Since it is just one meal, why does it matter if you miss it?

Skipping breakfast can make you start to eat junk foods which in turn makes you obese. Various researchers have concluded that obese people are at a higher risk of having cancer.

Skipping breakfast can affect your productivity throughout the day. It serves as the fuel that helps you perform your daily duties without slowing down or making avoidable mistakes.

Skipping meals can lead to low levels of blood sugar. This in turn, triggers the release of hormones that are to compensate for low sugar levels. This, also leads to an increase in the blood pressure levels, causing migraines and headaches.

I guess you never knew it was this serious. When protein level is low, it can affect the levels of keratin, which affects hair growth and causes hair loss. If you want to have beautiful hair, make sure you have a protein filled breakfast daily.

Breakfast is very important and should be taken seriously. There is a reason why it is called “breakfast”. Make sure you break your fast before you head out for your daily activities.
